My name is Mahmoud Kattan and I am the owner of Mammoth Audio Engineering. I am a musician, guitarist, singer and audio engineer with over ten years of experience in songwriting and recording. I have been recording and mixing professionally since late 2016 and have been fortunate enough to make a part time living with music since late 2019.
I also play guitar and sing in the Zurich-based metal band Atropas since 2011, which has afforded me the luxury to tour across Europe and learn more about music, furthering and deepening my love for it.

FULL PRODUCTION
Coaching, recording, editing, mixing and mastering at Mammoth Audio Engineering. We will be focusing on your song and what it needs and lay down the foundation for a competitive end product.
We’ll be focusing on every detail during this in depth process, including lyrics, powerful vocal arrangements, interesting synthesizer work, subtle percussion parts and last but not least, huge guitar sounds to make sure that you end up with a unique soundscape for your music.
MIXING AND MASTERING
Send me your individual tracks and I will push your song to a new level. I’ll coach you on how to record your music optimally with the tools at your disposal in order for me to make your song sound even better from the start. I’m also very happy to add my own arrangements to your song, if you wish.
COACHING AND SONGWRITING FEEDBACK
Send me your songs and lyrics and I will send you an in depth feedback with my thoughts on it. Changes, possible improvements, general inputs and ideas will all be included here. In case you decide to record your music by yourself, I am also happy to coach you on how you can improve your recording quality, so we can achieve a better sounding mix.
RECORDING
Crafting and engineering sonic soundscapes that work in a final mix is a huge passion of mine. During the recording process, that is exactly what we will be doing together. Talk to me about your inspirations and what you’d like to achieve, and I will make sure we achieve something unique together, tailored exactly to your artistic vision.
VOCAL EDITING AND TUNING
Are you recording your own music, but don’t quite know how to edit the tracks or tune vocals for a polished end product? Would you like to focus on the more creative aspects, while someone else takes care of these technical parts for you? Then send me the tracks - I will make the cleanest edits. I will retain all the natural sounds while pushing them further than they have ever been.
REAMPING
Are you chasing a specific guitar sound? Are you after the holy grail of tone, but lack the experience, knowledge and maybe even the equipment to get the right sound? Then send me your DI guitar tracks and I will chase those tones for you. Tell me about your vision and ideas - my ears will do the rest for you, together with my assortment of amps, cabinets, effects and mics.
